History

Villa Kosthåll is located in the beautiful Skogby village, in the area of an old sawmill. The building, which was completed in 1888, has been an important part of the area's history. Originally, the sawmill founder, Mauritz Hisinger, lived in the building and used it as a home, canteen, and office.

1888: Villa Kosthåll's main building was completed
1891: The building was transferred to Fiskars ownership
2009: The current owners purchased Villa Kosthåll and opened it to the public
